How Do I Juggle?

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any requirements to participate?

  • No. Anyone can participate.
  • However, we will be giving out prizes at the end but you must be registered for fall soccer at AYSO Region 76 Beverly Hills to win a prize. You can REGISTER HERE.

How long is the challenge?

  • The 100 Juggle Challenge officially goes from July 1 to August 13.
  • However, you can still do the challenge in June as a warmup to the official start day of July 1.

How many juggles do I have to do?

  • You have to do a minimum of 100 juggles per day.

Is there a maximum number of juggles per day?

  • No. You can do as many juggles as you want per day. The more the better!

What if the ball drops on the ground? Do I start over?

  • No! Just continue to juggle from the number of juggles you had before. All juggles are cumulative for the day.

How do I track my juggles?

  • First, download and print the 100 Juggles Reporting Calendar which can be downloaded HERE.
  • Everyday you juggle, you write down the total number of Juggles you did for that day and the highest number of consecutive juggles that you did for the day.
  • Don’t forget to put the name of the juggler at the bottom of the reporting calendar.

Do I track my Personal Record for consecutive juggles?

  • Yes. On the reporting calendar, each day has a spot for your highest consecutive juggle for the day.

What is a consecutive juggle?

  • A consecutive juggle is the number of juggles you did without the ball hitting the ground or without the assistance of your hands or arms. You can use all other parts of your body to assist (like your thigh, chest, or shoulders). But to be counted as a juggle it must be kicked with the foot.

Did I hear there will be a prize?

  • Yes! There will be a prize for everyone who participates, provided:
    1. You are registered to play soccer at Beverly Hills AYSO in the fall.
    2. You submit a signed picture of your tracking calendar to 100juggles@ayso76.org between August 14th and August 18th.
  • Top jugglers will win a special prize!

I want to win the Top Juggler Prize. What do I have to do?

  • There are two factors we will consider for the top jugglers:
    1. How many of the 44 qualifying days did you do a minimum of 100 juggles. Remember, the qualifying days go from July 1 to Aug 13.
    2. How many total juggles did you do over the 44 qualifying days.
  • Notice that we are NOT counting how many consecutive juggles you did! The ability to do consecutive juggles alone is the reward! But no matter how few consecutive juggles you can do, anyone can show DETERMINATION, PERSEVERANCE, TENACITY, and CONSISTENCY by doing at least 100 juggles EVERYDAY.

How will I get my prize?

  • Prizes will be given out at our AYSO Soccerfest on August 26th. More details to follow!

I want to showcase how well I juggled. Where can I upload my video?

  • We absolutely recommend posting videos on social media if your family wants to. Just make sure you add a mention to @aysobh and hashtag #100jugglechallenge #aysobh to your Facebook and Instagram posts. We will give you a shout out from our Social Media pages! Maybe you’ll go viral!
  • Even if you don’t want to post any videos on social media, we highly encourage you to take a video on the first day and the last day of the challenge. Take periodic videos of your progress. At the end of the challenge, watch the videos together as a family and marvel at how much you’ve improved!

Can adults do this challenge?

  • We highly encourage the whole family to do this challenge!
  • While adults cannot win a prize, they can encourage their kids by leading the way.
