What do “Extra”, “Alliance”, and “Extra / Alliance” mean?

In the schedule above, each tryout is labeled Extra, Alliance, or Extra / Alliance. Here’s what those labels indicate:

  • Extra — This tryout is for a current AYSO Extra team (our competitive AYSO pathway).
  • Alliance — This tryout is for an AYSO Alliance team (our club-pathway option within AYSO) and our most competitive team offering.
  • Extra / Alliance — This team is currently competing at the Extra level, but is in the process of transitioning to Alliance. Players selected from this tryout should expect that the team will likely compete at the Alliance level next season, once the transition is finalized. These teams would have performed very well in a top Extra flight before being approved to transition to Alliance.

Round 2 Evaluations

Round 2 evaluations will be held for all divisions. Dates/times will be posted here after Round 1 concludes.
