We would like to introduce you to our newest AYSO Region 76 program, 4U Playground for 3 year-olds! The Playground program is very different from our other programs.
Our 4U program is only open to players born prior to August 31, as players will need to be three years old prior to the start of the season.
The objective of the 4U Playground Program is to use soccer as the "teaching thread" to develop fundamental motor skills such as balance, running, jumping and throwing for three year olds. This is the foundation of sports success and an active lifestyle. Please don't expect 45 minutes of soccer games.
Parent participation is strongly encouraged! AYSO master coaches lead sessions that create a fun, parent participatory atmosphere utilizing age appropriate activities.
Each child must come each week with shin guards, a number 3 size soccer ball, a refillable water bottle and either soccer cleats or decent sneakers. The children will all receive league provided uniforms that will consist of a reversible jersey, socks and shorts. The uniforms will be distributed just prior to your child's first session.
