Updated July 03, 2006
SCHEDULES FOR ALL TEAMS HAVE BEEN POSTED.
March 2 9:15 pm: All schedules have now been posted.
IT'S NOW THURSDAY 9:15 PM. REVISED SCHEDULES ARE POSTED. HOWEVER, WE STILL HAVE TO PROOF THEM. THEY SHOULD BE FINAL BY THE END OF THIS EVENING.
THE CHANGES THAT AFFECT MOSTLY U14 TEAMS AND A COUPLE OF U12 TEAMS, DUE TO THE LOSS OF ONE FIELD AT JOHN ADAMS MIDDLE SCHOOL AND BECAUSE OF RESTRICTIONS AT LINCOLN MIDDLE SCHOOL.
Saturday Weather update: Rumors to the contrary, Maryanne Laguardia has persuaded Santa Monica not to close John Adams or Lincoln Middle Schools - Games are ON.
Every game indicates in the notes which team is supposed to provide referees. But we are sure to have some gaps - all teams are asked to bring as many referees as they can and to offer to help.
_______
Scrimmage day is an informal one day event. Each team plays two games.
Same format as every year - two full-length games, with ice cream, soft drinks and pizza at 12 pm and 1 pm, no fee but a voluntary contribution of $5 a player would be welcome. No pins, no rosters, no medals, no T-shirts, just games and fun. Guests OK, so long as they are registered with AYSO. Please bring medical releases and, if you can, referees.
