Take the City Survey, Please!

If you have not already done this, please visit the City of Beverly Hills website and take the second Community Center Survey.  This is a follow-up to the survey conducted last winter.  It asks new questions and so whether or not you answered the original survey, AYSO strongly urge you to complete the new survey and especially the comment section at the end.  We first publicized the new survey earlier this summer and are now issuing one final reminder.

The proposed Community Center is part of a broader series of proposals that the City is considering to improve youth and adult recreational facilities in Beverly Hills.  These proposals include improving La Cienega and Roxbury Parks as well as improving access to school playgrounds and fields and improvements to the athletic fields and facilities at Beverly Hills High School.  AYSO Region 76 is vitally interested in seeing improved recreation opportunities for all in Beverly Hills.

The City has told us that it really welcomes broad participation in the survey, including from AYSO families.  The Community Center will only be built if the Council believes that it meets the needs of the community and the City really wants to know what you think both about the idea in general and about the specific activities and facilities that could be located at the Center.
