Coach Bulletin No. 2
Schedules
Schedules were published on Sunday afternoon and referee schedules are being put together. Click on your division and then click on your team ID to see your individualized schedule.
Please note: Any changes will be notified to you automatically by email. We will call you if any change is made on Thursday or Friday and you don’t confirm you received email notifications of changes.
Rosters
Rosters are a TWO-PART PROCESS. Both must be completed.
1. On-line submission. We require that you submit and update your roster on-line through the Team Status Page. The Team Status Page is at http://www.ayso76.net/ayso-online/cup-status.cfm. We need this both so that we can print out your line-up cards (you don’t have to provide line-up cards) and to give the necessary information to our T-shirt company. This MUST be completed by Wednesday night as we will print the line-up cards on Thursday morning.
Beverly Hills teams: Your roster information will be handled by your division director.
2. You must send us a roster signed by your regional commissioner. (Also applies to Beverly Hills teams). You can use the one generated by our system with the information you entered or provide your region’s official form or an eAYSO-generated roster, so long as it has exactly the same players. But whichever you choose, if you have not yet sent it to us, make sure you fax it to Michael Sun at 310-581-3989 (the technophiles among you may also send a pdf with the signature to Michael at ). Michael is preparing books for distribution to all our fields and he needs your signed roster by Wednesday at 5 pm at the latest.
This same procedure should be followed if you are making any changes to your roster.
Procedure for Late Roster Changes.
If you make a change to your roster after Wednesday night, or you fail to submit an on-line roster, (a) we will need you to bring four original signed copies of your revised roster to the field on Saturday for your first game; and (b) you will need to bring your own line-up cards.
Referee Information
If you have not already done so, please submit referee information via the on-line status page ASAP. At this point, if you have not done this, we can’t promise if you will be assigned games but if you give us the information, we will try to make use of your referees – the sooner the better.
You can also verify and update your information if anything has changed.
If you need to contact our referee administrator, Jeff Wolfe, his e-mail address is .
Check-In
You check in once only at the first field where you play. Make sure you have:
- A roster with an original signature of your regional commissioner
- Medical release forms with original signatures by parents/legal guardians for every player
- You DO NOT NEED to bring line-up cards unless you make changes to your roster after the Wednesday evening deadline
Before the first game, we will be asking to speak not just to you and your players but also the parents and supporters. We will explain the concept of the Sportsmanship Cup and how we do the scoring. Remember, we are here to give players and families a wonderful fun soccer experience, different from the usual screaming along the sidelines.
Photographers
We will only allow Action Shooters to take action photos of the
players that can be purchased through their own web site. No other
vendors are authorized to take pictures for sale, including team
pictures. If you are approached by photographers other than Action
Shooters, they are not authorized by the Sportsmanship Cup. We will
let you know if this changes.
Best regards
