READ ON . . .
On-Line Status Page http://www.ayso76.net/ayso-online/cup-status.cfm)
Please visit the on-line status page as soon as possible. Log in using the password above. You will then be able to submit your roster on-line – this is required – and you should also submit referee information if your team will be sending referees.
1. Payment
If you have already paid, many thanks! It can take us a couple of days to match up payments by check with our database of teams. If you have not already paid, please do so as soon as possible. We must have a regional check for $540 (for U12 and U14 teams; $450 for U10 teams). Your team may be dropped or placed on a waitlist if we don’t receive payment within 10 days of registration or if we don’t have your payment by December 7th.
Beverly Hills teams – do not pay. We will debit your tournament team account.
Hollywood-Wilshire teams - there are special arrangements regarding amounts to be paid. Check with the commissioner78@ayso1p.org/a>.
2. Referee Information
[Following paragraph does not apply to Beverly Hills and
Hollywood teams – your referees are already registered.]
Please submit referee information via the on-line status page as
soon as possible, but no later than Friday December 7. If your
region is sending multiple teams, have a regional referee
administrator or a tournament referee coordinator for your region,
please have that person contact Jeff Wolfe at referee@ayso76.org and copy
cup76@ayso76.org on the
e-mail. We do not guarantee assignments (and therefore credit
towards a refund) if we receive your referee information later than
the deadline.
JUNIOR REFEREES ARE WELCOME AND WILL GET YOUR TEAM FULL CREDIT. JUNIOR REFEREES MUST, HOWEVER, EITHER (A) BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT MONITOR OR (B) BE PART OF A TEAM (NOT NECESSARILY THE CENTER REF) WITH ONE ADULT REFEREE.
If you can provide only one or two referees, that's OK too - we give one credit per center or line up to the nine credits you need to avoid forfeiture of the referee deposit. We give partial refunds and we allow teams from a single region to help each other out. We are not looking for ways to keep your deposit, we are looking for referees.
Referees may be asked to stand-by and standby referees will be
given credit for each game for which they stand by even if we do not
need them.
3.
Rosters
We do not require ID cards, birth certificates, photographs,
etc.. We do require that you submit your roster on-line at the
team status page. We need your roster online because we print
out line-up cards and also need to give the names to our T-shirt
vendor to make templates for the t-shirts with the players' names.
Beverly Hills teams – make sure your division director assigns all
your coaches and players to your Sportsmanship Cup team (not the
same as the assignments for tournament and All Star teams.)
After completing your roster, all teams (including Beverly Hills teams) need to print out the roster and have it signed by your regional commissioner. Then mail it to us at AYSO Region 76, PO Box 1761, Beverly Hills, CA 90213 or fax it to Michael Sun at 310-581-3989 (the technophiles among you may also send a df with the signature to Michael at tsewen@aol.com)). Also, for this purpose, we will accept your own region's form or an eAYSO form - but we still need the basic player data to have been submitted online.
4.
T-Shirt Orders
See the T-shirt logo on our website and pre-order long and short-sleeved T-shirts, sweatshirts and tye-dye shirts on our site. Visit http://www.ayso76.org/cup/cuptshirtorder.htmla>. Northwest Designs, our T-shirt company, will give 20% off on orders received on or before December 12. Note that prices on the website are last year’s prices. We are getting these updated.
5. E-Mail
Our preferred method of communication is by e-mail. You must designate an e-mail contact who checks e-mail regularly in case there are any important announcements about the tournament as a whole or your team in particular. You can do this on your team’s status page.
6. News and
Things to Do
Please visit the main Sportsmanship Cup page at http://www.ayso76.org/cup//a> for more information, including news, things to do, a word about our sponsors, directions to fields and, in due course, game and referee schedules.
E-mail sent to cup76@ayso76.org will end up in the hands of Bill, Selo and Michael. One of us will get back to you. You can also call us but this generally will result in a delayed response.
