In an exercise to emphasize the importance of printing a proper lineup card, the Regional Coach Administrators gave instructions to all the U10 and U12 coaches on how this should be done. This was largely a reaction to the week one chaos where so many of the teams where so unprepared that the games did not start and end on time. As an incentive to learn how to print these lineup cards, one volunteer point was offered to each team who submitted a proper lineup card. We are happy to announce that all the teams earned the one additional point. Therefore, all U10 and U12 teams should manually add 1 volunteer bonus point to their points total in determining if you qualify for the elimination rounds of the playoffs. This point WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY SHOW UP ON YOUR TEAM TOTAL. This point will be manually added to the teams totals when evaluations are performed to determine if a team has qualified for the elimination rounds. Below is a table showing all of the points earned by our volunteers who came out to help us with our Monday night open practices, as well as their respective teams. We need you to take a few minutes and do the following:
1. Please take a look at the points we have you listed as earning and let us know if there are any issues. If the information in the table below is inaccurate, please contact Ji Lee.
2. Note that the points listed in the table WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY SHOW UP ON YOUR TEAM TOTAL - we will look at any team that is short on the required number of volunteer points and then add the points shown on this table to that team total. In other words, you will receive full credit for all volunteer points earned by your team.
3. These points are non-transferable. Only your team can benefit from these points. If you coach two teams, please indicate which team should get these points by emailing Ji Lee.
